Ensemble Postmodern is an Ensemble specializing in postmodern music of our present time, especially the music of Patrick Ananta Sutardjo, composer, musician, artist, author, singer and rapper and founder of Ensemble Postmodern. Universal post-humanist vegetarian and vegan ethics and spirituality are especially important in the work of Ensemble Postmodern that is entirely vegetarian and acts for animal and nature protection for world vegetarianism and veganism to end the slaughter, abuse and exploitation of animals for the meat industry, animal testings and cruelty products. Patrick Ananta Sutardjo is Hindu and his music reflects his spirituality of Ahimsa, non-harming, and Hindu faith, Om.

Ensemble Postmodern consists of Patrick Ananta Sutardjo, its founder, and entirely of technology, writing tools, paper tools, musical instruments,  machines and good things in general by which the music is created and performed, each of them having as Atman, Self, a unique personality, despite being non-human. It is a sign of postmodern times that computers, machines, instruments, tools and good things in general are substituting human work and necessity for human partnership in an age of post-humanism, trans-humanism, technology, digitalism, AI, Android Humanoid Robots and as an expression of postmodern nano and macro technology digital and analogue machine age with minimum human but crucial and important solo human work in coordinating the musical and artistic postmodern outcomes and performances.
